 Carmen Miranda


Maria do Carmo Miranda da Cunha was born on February 9, 1909in the parish of Marco de Canavezes, province of Beira Alta,Portugal. He came to Brazil as a very small, with only 10 monthsold and was created in the middle of bohemian Rio.

Carmen Miranda was short lived, but intense, his charismatic personality and his rise was recorded unprecedented internationalnot only in photographs, records and films, such as articles,reports, interviews and many books, in Brazil and abroad, as well as scholarly essays

 Heitor Villa-Lobos


Born on March 5, 1887, Heitor Villa-Lobos became known as arevolutionary who caused a break with academic music in Brazil.In 1903, Villa-Lobos finished the basic studies in the Monastery of St. Benedict. I used to join the groups of crying, playing guitar at parties and serenades.
